That happened to me too. Was it a snapping turtle? They can be nasty....
Yep, Tyrannosaurus "Hussein" Snappicus I think. Apparently, it had been doing crack all night, had not had its coffee yet and was grouchy.
I tried reasoning with it to no avail.

I hate the abbreviations on Home Depot receipts.

With so many products, it's understandable that they can't have overlong descriptions, but I find some of the abbreviations indecipherable.
A recent receipt listed "20"DLXLFMDLN" for $38.97.
Fortunately, it was just two days ago, so I could decipher that this was a 20"
DeLuXe ceiling MeDaLlioN but sometimes it's very difficult.

ROOT CANAL!!!! (I'm sure there are other experiences more painful but personally, I've never experienced one....)

Ouch, Arlene. I had a couple of root canals many years ago. No fun, no way. Hope you got meds.

Sorry to hear that, especially given the hectic time at work.

Would you like a doctor's note for the judge??

Thanks for the sympathy. (And I think I bought myself some sympathy points with the judge-- I've been on trail and had the endontist appointment on the off-day when the judge was hearing motions on other cases....)

I spent a significant amount of time yesterday preparing for the job interview I had today. About a minute into it I was told that the company requires each employee to have an automobile. I don't have an automobile. I don't drive. At all. It is a customer service position. No commuting is involved. Some people think the bus is not a "reliable form of transportation" but I've been riding the bus for 8 years and I'm the most punctual person you'll probably ever meet. Fuck my life.

This health care screaming match.
I guess I'm taking my chances
Giving up the ring, throwing in the gloves
I guess I'm taking my chances
Trading in my things For a couple wings on a little white dove
And one big love, one big love

Apparently PattyNetters have been living fairly content lives since August?
One minor eye-poke experience: turning ON some electronic feature accidentally and not being able to intentionally turn it OFF.

Somehow, I turned the speakerphone ON on my cell phone but had no clue how to turn it back off.
Fortunately, I wasn't dialing the foot fetish hotline in the middle of a church service.

I've done the same thing with TV/DVD/VCR remotes.

Leave it to some highbrow NY paper to invade Patty's privacy.
It's bad enough that she had to submit to one of the full body scans, but now the image results have been published:

Frankly, I'm surprised that Patty Central is delinquent in uncovering this news.
BTW, do you think she'd autograph my copy of the scan?

I got breast implants on January 8th.

The twins could probably poke my eyes out at this point in time.

Everything went well, by the way.
