Humorous happenings when shuffling songs

Postby TontoBronto » Tue Dec 06, 2011 9:15 am

Sometimes setting your iPod on shuffle yields interesting results: sometimes, it's just a weird juxtaposition of wildly contrasting genres, but yesterday, Emmylou Harris was introducing the artists for one of the Landmine-Free World concerts..... Bruce Cockburn, Nanci Griffith, John Prine..... then a seamless transition to a recognizable piano intro ...... then the unmistakable voice of The Sensational Alex Harvey and "Last of the Teenage Idols."

At first, it REALLY seemed like this was a genuine show. :D

Great choice by your Ipod though... can't fault it.

One of my favorite SAHB tracks of all time.

That "choice" was what made the shuffle seem seamless...... the slow piano opening really could have fit into the singer-songwriter show that Emmylou had just introduced.
