I thought I'd ressurect this thread with my cringeworthy appearance on this short video from Christine Collister's tour blog.

Any newbies or oldies who wish to expose themselves here too, then please feel free to post

I'm the one going by the name of Potter btw.... (not the gorgeous Andy unfortunately)

Well ain't you sweet in that film Ian! I'm not going to post my picture since I am all over the Net anyway, lol! But I'd love to encourage others....! I know that forums are dying out all over the Net with the advent of Facebook and YouTube....but it would be a shame if our little community died...

This was one of my favourite threads of years gone by and reminds me of the friendships that I hope still exist even though some of our friends are a little quieter of late.

As I was logging in, I was just thinking that, MB. Facebook is killing forums. It's like the *gasp*... Wal-Mart of the internet. Also, you and I now talk on Skype (as we just did :D). And I go back and forth with Lime, Jess, Mis, Scott and Keith a bit at Wal-Mart... I mean FB. And there are SO MANY apps over there. It makes Patty Survivor seem quaint. But I like quaint. I think we all do. I loved it when Ian sent me a personalized pop quiz because we're both AC/DC fans. It was more... well... personal.

Still, things change. It just sucks sometimes when they do.

And here I am as I'm typing this.

Then again there are those people that will never really make the jump. I have a Facebook page, but still prefer the forums - they're much more personal and I feel much closer to y'all than anyone I've ever met through Facebook. They serve a different need.

Hmmm...My Toriforum is dying and I just thought it was because Tori's talent is dying right before our very eyes. lol I'm going to start blaming it on Facebook, Twitter, etc.
