I find this strangely compelling viewing. It suddenly becomes credible when Joe Jackson starts to sing... or is it just me?

A travel/ food TV channel did a feature on stinky tofu (soy fermented in a marinade of rotting veggies & shrimp).
Judging by the taste-tester's reaction to the smell, the description below must be fairly accurate.

This is hilarious, and Lucy Lawless does a great Stevie impression! I remember seeing this on SNL. I'll never be able to hear 'Rhiannon' again without thinking of 'Chicken fajitas taste real fine, wouldn't you love to eat them'.

I was looking for an online tutorial for using RealPlayer and stumbled onto this.

Somehow, I think the line "There's blood everywhere" is going to come to mind whenever I think of out techno-challenged PattyNetters burning discs.

OK, I DO admit to loving the sound of very good vinyl records, but raised my eyebrows at a recent offering (normal people will find it amusing perhaps)

http://www.musicdirect.com/product/81597

Long an audiophile favorite, Jennifer Warnes' "Famous Blue Raincoat" is given the super-dooper-jumbo-maximus audio treatment---multiple discs pressed one side only on thick vinyl spinning at 45 RPM (rather than the normal 33 1/3).

$80!!

BTW, an amusing anecdote: Tower Records online once mistakenly sold audiophile versions of "Mingus Ah Um" (normally $50) for the price of the normal, single disc record (about $15). Word spread quickly online and many audiophiles took advantage of the mistake. Tower quickly sold out.
Not too long before they realized their error and got the prices right.
It DOES sound gorgeous (as does The Cowboy Junkies "Trinity Sessions).

OK, maybe it's just me, but I find this idea hilarious.
I'm toying with the idea of an environmentally-friendly reel mower pulled behind a newly-acquired electric golf cart. In looking for the mower, I discovered one "designed" to pull behind one of those geriatric scooter things.

Options include John Deere decals for your Jazzy scooter and a sidecar so your nurse can ride along with your intravenous drip.
