Asking For A Rhyme WithThe Most Romantic First Line,

But The Least Romantic SecondLine:

Love may be beautiful, love may be bliss
But I only slept with you cause I was pissed.

I thought that I could love no other.
Until, that is, I met your brother.

Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet, and so are
you.
But the roses are wilting, the violets are dead, the sugar
bowl's empty and so is your head.

Of loving beauty you float with grace,
If only you could hide your face.

Kind, intelligent, loving and hot;
This describes everything you are not.

I want to feel your sweet embrace.
But don't take that paper bag off of your face.

My darling, my lover, my beautiful wife:
Marrying you screwed up my life.

I see your face when I am dreaming.
That's why I always wake up screaming.

My love, you take my breath away.
What have you stepped in to smell this way?

My feelings for you no words can tell,
Except for maybe "go to hell."

What inspired this amorous rhyme?
Two parts vodka, one part lime.

These are great Gerry. I'm sure I'll be able to use some of these next year
I still don't blame you for leaving baby... it's cold living with goats

OK, this MAY not fit the "amusing" category exactly, but I ran across a style of toilet that made me giggle:
The Purist.
It LOOKS like a toilet that belongs in an outhouse or a Porta-John but it costs $2K!!! (If you'd like "The Purist" in a designer color, it'll be $1K extra--i.e. $3K for a toilet ).

I'm toying with the idea of buying a cheap Windows-based laptop (to supplement my Mac desktop): since I'm being frugal, searching eBay is turning up orphaned models with broken screens, 6 GB hard drives, missing hard drives etc.

One seller makes the disclaimer "

This laptop doesn't have an operating system. If you HAVE to ask what an operating system is, DON'T bid on this item!!

So, anybody KNOW what an OS is?? I'm afraid to ask the guy again.

Can someone explain why these embeded things don't show up right for me? Is there one part of this string of text that I can link with. It's weird, when I go to post a reply, I can see what the original post is suppose to look like (sort of a mini-player) but it's not showing up like that in the original posts.

I don't know WHY it's not working for you, but you can always cut and paste the http address and view in its own window--

Article deals with chocolate's beneficial effect on blood pressure, but I loved the final sentence that the clinical study received NO FUNDING: "researchers" bought chocolate themselves at the supermarket!!!!
