In a couple hours, we leave for CHICAGO!!!

Tonight, we will see the Cowboy Junkies in a very intimate setting. I am fired up beyond belief!!!
"You could write a song about some kind of emotional problem you are having, but it would not be a good song, in my eyes, until it went through a period of sensitivity to a moment of clarity. Without that moment of clarity to contribute to the song, it's just complaining."

In a couple of weeks time I'm off to the Echo arena in Liverpool to see Brit Floyd, the worlds BEST Pink Floyd tribute band.

This will be my third BF gig this year and my advice would be to see these guys when they tour The States next spring. They're the nearest you're going to get (unfortunately) to the real thing.

As one wag I know pointed out to me...

"they're that good, you can almost hear Gilmour and Waters arguing"

:D

That's sounds awesome, Keith!
Is MB also performing on Tuesday? Give her a big hug for me, please.

I really like Ryan's latest record.

Interesting. The only Floyd tribute band I've heard is the Australian one---and that was on PBS television.

I'm going to see The Australian Pink Floyd myself in the new year but from what I've heard, they're not on a par with these guys.

We have a spare ticket if you can get over here for the 17th Turk
