Kasey's releasing a record on April 19th with her husband Shane called Rattlin' Bones. It's very much country and I love the title track which you can listen to here: http://www.liberation.com.au/

I just have to comment that I think it's remarkably stupid of Kasey's management not to make this CD available for sale in the U.S. either in stores or via download-- it can be purchased from iTunes Australia but not iTunes U.S. This strategy is only going to lead to American fans burning and exchanging copies without the artists getting royalties and by the time her management wakes up and releases it in the U.S., fans who would have been willing to pay for the CD, will already have it. (Not anyone I know, of course, but....)

I got mine from Australia (I don't think it will come to Europe )
But according to a press release from June 20th it is coming to the US:
"Kasey Chambers Plans Sugar Hill Release:
Friday, June 20, 2008 – Kasey Chambers will release her next album with Shane Nicholson through Sugar Hill Records. "Rattlin' Bones" will be the title of the disc.
"The record is done, but we're in the process of setting a street date," said Sugar Hill publicist Donica Christensen. The disc came out in Australia in April.
Chambers released her previous albums in this country on Warner's."
You can also find it as an import for $19.99 here: http://www.villagerecords.com/product_info.php?products_id=4771&osCsid=10a23413bb7a5cdc942d705c5c665e38

Kasey and Shane are getting ready for a small tour in the US and the dates are just now showing up:
They will be at McCabe's Guitar Shop in Santa Monica on Sept. 12. Tickets on sale now at http://www.mccabes.com
...and then on Sept. 17 they will be in Birchmere, Alexandria, VA. Tickets go on sale July 25 on Ticketmaster.
I'm hoping that they will also take this small tour to Europe (=Sweden )...
