FYI, you can see some video clips of Tift performing at the 2003 Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival by going to http://www.strictlybluegrass.com/archives/ and you can see and hear her 1/27/05 session on KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic by going to http://kcrw.org/show/mb

I saw Tift Merritt play last night in Eugene (Tres Chicas opened - quite a deal for $12!). She was fantastic! She performs like a star and seems to have a great time. I was very impressed, even though I thought I knew what to expect, from her CDs. If you get a chance to see her live, it will be worth your time - especially when she shakes the tambourine. The girl has energy to burn.
