Richard Shindell's album of cover songs is (supposed to be) coming out in March.

Lucy Kaplansky is working on a new cd for early 2007.

Christine Collister.

Found out off Chris tonight that she's already been into the studio and recorded her interpretation of 'Mary'.

I like to consolidate the list so I can admire how many people are releasing cds... hehe...

Brandi Carlile
Christine Collister
Kris Delmhorst
Steve Earle
Mark Geary
Girlyman
Patty Griffin
Lucy Kaplansky
Brianna Lane
Lori McKenna
Sam Phillips
Richard Shindell
Gillian Welch/David Rawlings

And I have two to add:
* Juliana Finch (first full-length release...I'm so excited for her, and for it!)
* Tegan & Sara (supposedly in spring of '07, but likely closer to the end of the summer)

Andrew Bird. And the new songs are SO good.
It's the same old thirst for more

One of my favorite bands is gearing up to release a new record in '07, but it remains to be seen WHEN in '07 this will happen.

Add Margot & the Nuclear So-and-So's to the list!

They are all kinds of amazing...I'm constantly listening to their '06 record The Dust of Retreat...and from what I hear their new stuff is pretty effing cool. (Jess, Ang, how 'bout that, huh?!? :D ) Hopefully once I see them live in November I'll have a better idea of what the record will sound like. But! YAY! I can't wait.

squee,

Looking forward to Kristin's new CD, too! I love Throwing Muses, Belly and Tanya, but still haven't heard 50 Foot Wave.

Jonatha Brooke 'Careful What You Wish For' - hope it's soon! Probably early 07, I think.
