Well, I've finally "gotten" Mr. Adams and all of his hype. It's taken me a while admittedly. Gold is in constant rotation now. Any recommendations on where to go from there?

Thanks,
Tracy

well, "heartbreaker" is a must own. i think "demolition" is very underated, "cold roses" is very, very good. and i'm really loving the new one, "easy tiger." "gold" & "heartbreaker" would both fall in my "top 25 forever" list...then work out from there.

and d/l the show i linked above, it's incredible.

I really hated reading this. Hopefully it's just a temporary thing...again:

Adams Has Meltdown at Minneapolis Show
By Associated Press
Fri Sep 28, 12:09 AM

MINNEAPOLIS - Ryan Adams pitched another fit for a Minneapolis audience, a few years after his last local meltdown.

Throughout a show Thursday night, the 32-year-old singer-guitarist complained about the sound monitors onstage at the State Theatre. At one point, he moved two monitors, his microphone and his guitar pedals.

After 70 minutes he'd had enough. Adams announced "the last song," played it and didn't return for an encore. Many fans stood and booed.

"I don't know what the story was," guitarist Neal Casal told the Star Tribune afterward. "I just play guitar."

In 2003, Adams gave a famously bad performance at First Avenue, a rambling two-hour show where he griped about the sound system, played several songs twice and lambasted local rock legend Paul Westerberg.

You and me both, Turk. My pal Kent and his wife were at the show and he said there were also a number of obnoxious fans badgering him during the set, something I think he's brought on himself by being so easy to bait over the years. A pity, I thought we were finally past the tantrums and I recently bought a ticket for his Halloween show in NYC.

Aw, man. I tried to win tickets to that sold-out show. Maybe I shouldn't be so bummed I didn't get one.

Did you make it to the Halloween show, Kravitz?
How was it?

RA was on Letterman last night and did "Everybody Knows." He was rockin' out. That performance is not on the Letterman site but he did "How Do You Keep Love Alive / Pearls on a String" after the show for the audience.
See it here........
