Ryan Adams

Yes, there's a whole world of music out there besides Patty.

Did you make it to the Halloween show, Kravitz?
How was it?

Yessir Turk, I was there and the show was awesome! Ryan's engineer let me plug into the board and I also had my AKG mics set up about 9' high, although there was a lot of audience chatter back by the sound booth. I uploaded my mixed down 4-channel recording to archive.org Friday morning and it was a huge hit! Until Ryan's management decided to pull it (and any other soundboard-sourced recordings) from the archives and torrent sites cuz they're planning to make a DVD of the concert. :? Oh well, should make a great DVD!

Someone else up front got an excellent mics-only recording of the show which he seeded as a torrent -- you can get it at http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/sho ... hp?t=48152
I don't know nothing except change will come

Glad you enjoyed the show, Keith.
Too bad the archives site took down your recording but the DVD sounds like it'll be great.
Thanks for info and torrent link.

Sold Out Schmold Out. Go anyway. Take some extra cash, wear those boots you bought in Austin. Somehow you'll get in. It'll be worth it.

Thanks to Scoote, I became a HUGE RA fan.
I agree with him. You should go to the venue anyway!

These are good for 7 days:

Brown Sugar by Ryan and Beth Orton. Very hypnotic.

Lovesick Blues -- Ryan does Hank Williams.

Blue -- Think Roy Orbison.

Lpve is How We Stay Alive -- Ida Kristin w/ Ryan on harmony. Nice.

You're more than welcome, MB. It seems I've been owing you some RA for quite a long while now. I'll see what other things I can come up with.

Um, those files expired before I got a chance to download 'em. Any chance for a hookup?
