I really dig Orange Blossoms from JJ Grey and Mofro.

Well, I haven't really listened to much new music this year. Had some minor issues which prevented me from focusing on said subject. I only listened to one new album the entire year. And that would be Marybeth's.

Still, I can honestly say had I listened to 100 new albums, Marybeth's would have been on my list. I think it's that good. I haven't been able to get it out of my car stereo.

I’ve still got some catching up do to for 2008, but of the albums I bought these are the ones that I enjoyed most. The first 6 stand out to me above the rest. I do agree about 2008 being a weaker/ lighter year in terms of albums. For me I think its because a majority of my fave artists are in between albums at the moment.

Emmylou Harris- All I Intended To Be
Ray LaMontagne- Gossip In The Grain
Kings of Leon- Only By The Night
Kathleen Edwards- Asking for Flowers
Martha Wainwright- I Know Your Married But I’ve Got Feelings Too
Tracy Chapman- Our Bright Future

Joan Baez- Day After Tomorrow
Coldplay- Viva La Vida
Lyfe Jennings- Lyfe Change
Anthony Hamilton- The Point Of It All
Catie Curtis- Sweet Life
Flobots- Fight With Tools
Mamma Mia The Movie Soundtrack… don’t judge me :D
Missy Higgins- On A Clear Night
Sonya Kitchell- This Storm
State Radio- Year Of The Crow
Mavis Staples- Hope At The Hideout
John Legend- Evolver
