I can't recall a thread on the younger Earle, but I recently picked up his latest, "Midnight at the Movies" and I absolutely adore it. Mama's Eyes is my favorite track. Anybody else dig this guy?
If I died, he'd hear about it, eventually.

Because of Arlene's suggestion, I've been listening to Justin on the Imeem site and I've become a fan. I'm kind of partial to The Good Life at the moment. Didn't really know that Steve had such a talented son and that he'd followed pretty much in dad's footsteps -- good and bad.

I like both full albums, as well as his EP, Yuma. Mama's Eyes is also MY favorite song on the new album but Someday I'll Be Forgiven For This is a close second.

Here's an interesting article about Earle the Younger and his new album. http://www.countrystandardtime.com/d/ar ... p?xid=1079
"You've got to sing like you don't need the money, love like you'll never get hurt. You've got to dance like no one is watching. It's gotta come from the heart, if you want it to work."
~Susannah Clark

"Ginger Rogers did everything that Fred Astaire did. She just did it backwards and in high heels." ~Molly Ivins

"If I had to live my life again, I'd make the same mistakes, only sooner."
~Tallulah Bankhead
