Does anyone out there like him as well? I just discovered his music (about 15 years late), and am obsessed with listening to his albums "Perfect World" and "Can You Fly." I love the combination of dark characters (fathers who desert their families, a guy in a platonic relationship with a messed up girl) and cheerful melodies. Apparently his later albums weren't quite as successful, but he's coming out with a new one very shortly.

Big fan of Freedy. "Can You Fly" is one of my all time favorites. His first album is also very good (can't remember the name this early in the day). All his albums have something to reccomend them.
