In one corner, we have Wilco (Jeff Tweedy) - Wilco [the album] (released June 29, 2009):

In the other corner, we have Son Volt (Jay Farrar) - American Central Dust (released July 7, 2009):

<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://www.lala.com/external/flash/PlaylistWidget.swf" id="lalaAlbumEmbed" width="300" height="254"><param name="movie" value="http://www.lala.com/external/flash/PlaylistWidget.swf"><param name="wmode" value="transparent"><param name="allowNetworking" value="all"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><param name="flashvars" value="albumId=1657606138647314406&host=www.lala.com&partnerId=memberalbum"><embed id="lalaAlbumEmbed" name="lalaAlbumEmbed" src="http://www.lala.com/external/flash/PlaylistWidget.swf" width="300" height="254" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" wmode="transparent" allowNetworking="all" allowScriptAccess="always" flashvars="albumId=1657606138647314406&host=www.lala.com&partnerId=memberalbum"></embed></object>

You get one full play of each album at no cost, but hey, for a total of $1.60, you can get unlimited streaming of both albums so that you can make an informed vote. But, if one listen is all you need, why spend the big bucks? Feel free to vote without listening - that will best approximate the normal voting process of any local election.
