Aaaaahaha. I wish. But thanks. Glad to see you've discovered her - I love how fiery and infectious her music is. I was actually listening to "Call Me Your Darling" on the way back from the beach today...great minds.
enjoy HG, it's a gem!

Found this great audience shot clip on YouTube of Thea singing This girl is taking bets
Recorded at one of my favourite venues too - Telfords Warehouse, Chester.
One for Elise to drool over

"Warm and Tender Love" from Caitlin Cary and Thad Cockrell "begonias".

... and from earlier last year
I only recently got this off my phone and rotated through 90 degrees before uploading to YouTube.
I shot this at Thea's gig in my favorite seedy club in Stoke... look me up if you're ever passing and I'll take you there
Apologies to Thea for making her look a little more sturdy than she actually was... it's a consequence of rotating the picture from a landscape to portrait format which stretches it widthwise a bit on YouTube.

Email from Thea HQ
"We’re pleased to confirm that Thea’s new album “Liejacker” is released on March 31st. on Fulfill Records, distributed by Universal.
We would have been announcing this to the world as “new news” in the normal scheme of things over the next week or so but it seems that national radio appetite for Thea knows no bounds and waits for no man - so it looks like the news is well and truly out in the world!!
So...”Liejacker” contains 12 new tracks - plus a bonus track on the digital download The album was recorded and mixed at the Loft in Liverpool, and was completed in early autumn. Thea - for the first time in her career - co-produced the album and played many of the instruments.
It features guest appearances from Joan Baez, Dave McCabe of the Zutons, Erin MacKeown, and Steve Wickham of the Waterboys.
Track details and other luscious hints will follow soon."
Yum!

This is fantastic!!!
Probably my favourite of Thea's quieter live numbers.
If this doesn't make the hairs on your neck stand up, I don't know what will.
