It's kind of fallish and moody here today so I thought I would revive this thread with a melancholy sounding number from Kathleen Edward's latest album. This is one of my favorites, its called:

Oh Marybeth! You absolutely nailed this. This is also one of my favorite Kathleen Edwards songs. Every time I hear it I have strong visuals of the person in the burning house, in a slow motion calm way, looking at all the personal treasures they have that will soon be lost and they have to choose the one thing they can keep. ooooo, goose bumps. Those images were just as strong in your performance. Very nicely done. Your guitar was perfect. It would be thrilling to get Scott to add the guitar riff that Kathy's band plays on that song....

Now how about Copied Keys, or Away? Man I love this album.

War may sometimes be a necessary evil. But no matter how necessary, it is always an evil, never a good. We will not learn to live together in peace by killing each other's children.

Wow...
Excellent MB.

I was completely absorbed into this song.
What a sad song.
I couldn't help but think of the people having to flee the flood waters of the hurricane and trying to decide what to take with them and what to leave. Knowing that it will all be lost.

You captured the despair of the song completely, Marybeth.

Very nice.
You're guitar and vocal sounded VOONDERBAR!

That was fantastic, MB! I can't remember hearing the vibrato in your voice like this before. Great performance.

 Holy Shizzle-phyzz MB!
What a great one! Gotta be my favorite K. E. song, too! I always crank up the volume for her slower/quieter songs. Love, Love, Love it! Great guitar, girl! And your vocals & emotion are like... WOAH!

I did unfortunately flub the guitar in numerous places. oh well.

It would be thrilling to get Scott to add the guitar riff that Kathy's band plays on that song....

feel free to add something.....

Alright, I promised Nicole that I'd post this if I got a good take, and this one is the one you're getting. LOL Complete with the usual mic clipping, buzzing strings that need to be changed, inconsistent Mis playing speed - I'm too lazy to mix it - I wish you all a Merry Christmas. :)
