Auntie M, can I say you're my favorite online aunt??...you're overly talented, and I love this song. Thank you for sharing.

This is the result of another Elise-and-Angela-mess-around-while-eating-Doritos-and-salsa session. ;)

Angela played lead guitar and sang harmony. I sang melody and did rhythm guitar. It turned out very Indigo-Girls. Except it's a song by Margot & the Nuclear So-and-So's.

We are pretty proud of it. Hope y'all enjoy.

love,
~E

Here is a new Lisey/Ang collaboration. Elise introduced this Old Crow Medicine Show tune to me a few weeks ago, and I haven't been able to get it out of my head since. We've been messing around with it for the last couple of days, and decided to record a live take of it before she headed back to Greensboro this afternoon. Lisey is singing lead and playing rhythm guitar. I am singing harmony and plinkety-plinka-plinking on the banjo. (I'm learning.) Anyway, we had a blast recording this and hope you enjoy listening.

Any snorting noises were contributed by Fraulein. :P

I'm not sure what anyone else's excuse is but ol' crusty here has finally gotten around to listening to this fantastic cover by two of my favorite musicians whom I've actually had the pleasure to meet - Ang and Elise - who I've fondly dubbed Angelise. Sorry it took me so long to take the time to listen and absorb. I DL'd it some time ago then Azheimer's took over, but thanks to the miracle of Aricept, I was able to finally locate and hear it.

I hope that you guys don't mind that I've made this lil gem available again (for 7 days) to give all the other slackers who may have overlooked it earlier another chance to hear.

I've always thought you two have beautimous chemistry and this song is no exception. Your banjo playing is quite good, Ang. The rumors are true - you are one exceptionally hot plucker. ;)
Seems like everything's so easy for for Fraulein...
