PMs: Difference between "Outbox" and "Sentbo

Postby Mis » Wed Mar 16, 2005 12:01 pm

Hey G...

I thought I'd post this publicly since others might be wondering. What is the difference between the Sentbox and the Outbox in the private message area? I replied to a PM last night, and instead of going into my Sentbox, it went into my Outbox...so I'm wondering if the recipient ever got it. It could be I hit a wrong button...but I was surprised to see the message in the Outbox this morning.

Any insight?

Thanks!

Hey M...
I believe that any PM initially goes into the "Sentbox", until the recipient reads the message, at which point it is moved into the "Outbox". Hope that helps...

And while it's in the outbox...you are still able to edit or delete it if you so desire.

(Only knows because she's done it)
