Patty's Road Band?

Postby jmp31 » Fri May 24, 2013 6:29 am

Does anyone know what kind of band will be touring with Patty in June? I wonder if the Dickinson brothers will be with her. They added a great deal to the tracks they did on American Kid. Maybe Doug Lancio will go on the road with her. But maybe it'll be just Patty and her guitars.
I suppose we'll find out soon enough!

In one of the interviews posted here, Patty said that Doug's on another project & would not be touring with her. I'm curious to know who may accompany her, too.

I was worried Doug wouldn't be on this tour- that's a big bummer. I cannot even picture her performing with a band that didn't include him. Then again, she's been away for so long I suppose he would have had to move on. If she is bringing on another guitarist, I think the catalogue will take a hit.

On her Philly date it says with special gueste Max Gomez, but I guess he might be an opener.

I don't think she "lost" Doug Lancio. No musician can live working with just one person, they all have numerous projects, and the timing is probably just bad that he was committed elsewhere.
