Wow, that is amazing. Thanks so much for posting. Do you (or does anyone) know if it's Patty's song?

I wonder if Patty attributes The Glory of Love to Jimmy Durante. Actually he did not write it, but obviously made it famous.

Interesting to know, Sat B. I love the way Patty keeps her ears open to such a variety of music and musicians.

She totally does. She doesn't say he wrote it but she does say despite his lack of vocal ability, his is the quintessential version.
If I died, he'd hear about it, eventually.

Dreaming is a beautiful song.

It really is amazing how many unreleased “album caliber” songs Patty has left behind throughout the years, that for any other musician would have been track #1 on their next album. There is a good group of them that didn’t make Children Running Through-now that would fit perfectly together (Free, Moon Song, Time Turned Us Down, Wherever You Go, First Star, I Said to the Sky etc). The ones that were unofficially tacked onto Children Running Through will sadly probably never make it to an album, which is a real shame with Free. Her cover of Live Forever and Remember from the Dreamboy soundtrack were both beautiful as well.

Who knows, maybe it is time for Love From My Lips 2.0 : )

I have a copy of it from a show in 2006, but that's the only version I have. I can send you the mp3 if you like. It really is a beautiful song- definitely out of Patty’s darker side, but I tend to like those songs most.

I don’t know for certain that Turn Around is the legitimate title. You may know it by a different title, but the lyrics (so far as I can make out with my bad ears) are below.

I walked a little while down there
I walked a little while down
Seen a fire rain on _ down
But I could not turn around

Tonight I walk alongside of strangers
I have walked here all my life
There is anger
There is danger
There are bombs and guns and knives

Once I held my little children
Tucked them in their little beds
Prayed to my god to keep them
Now every one of them is dead

You’ve never seen a night before
Until you’ve seen the night
Pouring over a land like blood
Over everything you’ve lived and loved
Only knowing that no more shall be
I pray this kind of night you never see

So I walked a little while down there
I walked a little while down
Seen a fire rain on _ down
And I could not turn around

Kelsea, I'd love to have the mp3 of this song. (I'm also drawn to Patty's darker side.) Should I send you a pm with my email address? Thanks! Jane
