Smit,
Call the theatre and see if they're selling tickets on-line or not.
Some of the older theatres around here don't use Ticketmaster or any ticket brokers. If you're first in line, get get your pick of seats. That's what I did for Patty's show in Lexington and I scored front row seats. Good luck mang!

Welllllll......
Patty and Lucinda Williams both went on sale at noon today.
I decided to get Lucinda Williams tickets first thinking that it would sell out faster than Patty.

Scored some okay tickets - 20th row, but GOD DO I HATE TICKETBASTARD!
And when I went to get Patty tix, I could only get balcony.
Well, I thought - EFF THATT MANG!

...So I will be amongst the scalpers lurking for orchestra pit seats.

Also, ( the plot thickens... )
my friend wants me to play a show with him that night at 7th Street Entry

...so I gots to decide whats to do

But anyway, thanks for the tip Scott.
This theatre uses ticketbastard...
So there I was, online, groveling to the great and powerful Ticketbastard god...
Whilst trying to figure out what the fuck that stupid distorted password thingy says. RRRRRRRRRRRRR!
GODAMMMM I HATE TICKETBASTARD!!!!!

...did I mention that I hate ticketbastard?

well fuck 'em, I do.

Okay, now... HEY Gilly-fish!!!
Will you be at the St. Paul show?
Are you still in MN? or In Boston?
I'm so out of touch I feel like an amputee at a braille convention.

 ...okay, that was kinda like Larry the Cable Guy humor.
Sorry.

ANyway...I hope the Bunster and I see you there!!!
( If I end up going and not playing the show with my friend... )

We'll see what happens

A photo from the St. Paul show last night posted in the OtR forum by my friend Kent, who is apparently following Gillian around the twin cities:
