I still cant believe I made it in!

(And thanks to the person who so graciously parted with her unused tickets without asking for money)

What an experience that was.......I hadn't seen Patty at the GAMH in so long, it felt very homecoming-ish, for lack of a better word. The interview segments were amazing, so candid and fun. And plus, hearing "Flaming Red", "Not Alone", "Nobody's Crying", and the Bessie Smith tune all solo acoustic in the same show- uh, wow.

:)

Kevin -
I guess it's safe to say that this has been your year for live PattyShows.
Good for you and more power to you. Thanks for all the recap feedbacks!

Mozaic -
I have also been the recipient of ticket opportunites (and the sharing of her recorded shows ) such as you've been. It's such a cool and wonderful thing which actually does reflect the PattyLove that abounds. The magical beauty of her music really does extend through the kind acts of her fans.

I don't know if she'll ever comprehend that, but many of us certainly do.
