In which pic is Arlene Hiding?
She's in the group photo in the drunken posts. The only one not in pictures is ME!

A little slideshow of the event I like to call,
"The Albany Debauchery Incident(s)." Yes, that is Gillian with the lampshade literally on her head. And you know it's a party when that happens.
I'm still kind of recovering (and am back at work today...bleh)...but I'll write a review of the show soon!

Damn, it's not working for me. I see an error (Warning: getimagesize(): Read error! in /apache/htdocs/main/index.php on line 366) and then the image doesn't display.
If I click "Back to Photobucket Album" then it wants me to sign in.

works for me!
A question: did any of you EVER get off the beds other than to take a picture?

Gillian, when we finally meet we'll have to go bowling together and where our matching "Bowling" shirts. I can't believe you have that shirt! I wear it all the time.

Here is my one-word review of the show:
Stunning.
(Okay, I'll add a few more)
All the new songs are amazing and No Bad News, for me, is the particular standout. The arrangements on Silver Bell and Don't Come Easy were great. Patty was firing superbly on all cylinders (when you hear Standing you'll know what I mean). Michael Longoria is an animal. Disco Fred will have to be restrained when he sees Michael Ramos.
Kick ass show. Cannot wait until Boston!

Sweet! I love that shirt!! Also, did you see the shirt I was wearing in the last pic of me and Matt? Rachel sent me that one and it's another favorite.
And Klary... it seems the experience of meeting and hanging out with our Patty friends sort of over-shadowed the concert itself (at least in terms of what we're posting about here).
The show was amazing though! Patty was so on... I don't know how she can sing that way every night... she is incredible. The new songs were great... my favorites were Getting Ready (totally rocked) and Up or Down (a beautiful piano song). A couple other new songs had really intense LWG-ish vocals. The highlight of the show for me was Standing... it was so intense I stopped breathing a few times. You could just see the song bubbling up out of her... totally fucking amazing! I also enjoyed the new arrangements of Don't Come Easy (Patty played guitar and JD was on acoustic bass) and Love Throw a Line. The new arrangement of Silver Bell is so sexy and sultry and deserves to be recorded! Wade in the Water... hot! We were also treated to Poor Man's House... lucky us!
Our seats were amazing. 2nd row pit. Rachel and I picked some flowers for Patty and I put them up on the stage after the end of the main set. After the 1st encore, Patty picked the flowers up and waved at the audience with them in her hands. So cool! We got her back for a 2nd encore by stomp-stomp-stomping on the floor... go us! It was truly a fabulous show... I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

Honestly, I'm still stunned at the outrageous brilliance of the show, and how luminous Patty was-- she is looking and sounding unreal, there are no words for the power she exudes on the stage. One word, Standing, I saw God.
3rd row, and PattyFriends, what more can I ask?

thanks for the reports you guys. I am going mad with anticipation!
I am wondering how different the European shows will be from the US ones, when over here we will just have Patty & Doug. Do you think she will do sort of the same set list or a whole different show? It must be very different for her without the band.
Ah, just have to wait wait and wait some more and then we'll know!
