CRT- Survivor - Round Three

Postby Kris » Mon Mar 03, 2008 12:01 am

Ug! I can't believe a song in my top 3 for the album (meaning the album released as we are voting, not the extra songs) got voted off in the SECOND ROUND!!!

Sigh.

Oh well, goodbye to "Railroad Wings", with 6 votes. We hardly knew ye.

The remaining songs are:

Stay on the Ride
Trapeze
Getting Ready
Burgundy Shoes
Heavenly Day
No Bad News
Up to the Mountain (MLK Song)
I Don't Ever Give Up
Someone Else's Tomorrow
Crying Over

Voting will end on Wednesday.
It's the same old thirst for more
Until they put you in the dirt

Of a door that I kept locked
But I decorate the threshold
Just in case you knocked

Okay, I was playing for strategy on the first two rounds, but now I'm getting down and dirty.

"Heavenly Day." One of my least favorite Patty songs of all time. I like "One Big Love" more, and that's saying a lot.

Ugh. I did not realize we were playing and Kris kindly waited until I was back here. Serves me right for not reading through all the threads. Then again, been kinda off the island for a while trying to catch up on so much.

Anyway, my first vote, and I've changed it twice, is for SOtR. Just never really caught on with me. Although I know it will last maybe a few more rounds, I have to say it.... buh bye, SOtR.

Think of me like the sick little kid in Pride of the Yankees when Lou Gehrig (a real Yankee legend) hits two home runs for the kid. Please vote for SOtR so I'll feel better . If not, they ship me back to the hospital and put more staples in my head just for the hell of it .

It's not even that I think "Stay on the Ride" is a great song, it's that I have so much fun playing it that I can't vote for it yet.

My vote goes to "Someone Else's Tomorrow" - a song that I just don't particularly enjoy.
