CRT- Survivor- Round Six

Postby Kris » Fri Mar 14, 2008 1:32 pm

Sorry for being late on this one.

Okay, this was a close one, but I Don't Ever Give Up, was voted off with 8 votes. Stay on the Ride was trailing it at 7 votes. It's really interesting how the last round came down to only these songs, none of the others was voted for. In a few more rounds, I fear this may get dirty.

The remaining contenders:

Stay on the Ride
Trapeze
Getting Ready
Burgundy Shoes
No Bad News
Up to the Mountain (MLK Song)
Crying Over

Voting will close on Monday.

I vote for Trapeze. It's a little too country for me, in terms of the lyrics and story, and Emmylous is a little too there in the background.

Do you want me to fly
The sky said, No
Ain't your turn to go

Stay on the Ride!!!

And Scott, now that you have betrayed the Family as much as Fredo, Paulie, and Carlo, get in your car when Fabrizio is running away from it.

You and Nicole are both lucky that I'm currently barefoot

Glad to see someone vote for Crying Over. I was the only person who had voted for it earlier.

So, I'll do it again...CRYING OVER.

It's the smart move, Don Gerstner, but I've already got my guys meeting you on the courthouse steps. However, seeing as you voted the right way, I'll call the 'parking ticket' off.

For me, it's down to Burgundy Shoes or Stay on the Ride. Burgundy Shoes, because, while I love the actual music, there are some parts of the lyrics that annoy me. Specifically the line "You're the most pretty lady in the world." To me, it seems like Patty's writing a caricature of a child and it ends up being a line that I just hate, hate, hate.

However, my vote goes to

STAY ON THE RIDE.
Subtly eccentric...
