CRT- Survivor Round Nine- Final Round!

Postby Kris » Thu Mar 27, 2008 11:55 am

This is really ending quite differently than I expected. Songs I love the most (Burgundy Shoes, Railroad Wings) were voted off much earlier than I expected and my favorite songs from this record (Free, ISTTS) aren't even on the record. Songs that I always thought were weaker (Someone Else's Tomorrow, Crying Over) clung on longer than I thought. And now that Getty Ready has been voted off we come to the final round.

I couldn't have said it better, MB:

You're nothing to me now. You're not a brother, you're not a friend. I don't want to know you or what you do. I don't want to see you at the hotels, I don't want you near my house. When you see Patty, I want to know a day in advance, so I won't be there. You understand?

Tough choice. I like the strictly acoustic version of NBN better than the album and I prefer guitar to the piano on UTTM. But I'm going with:

Up to the Mountain

My favorite, though, is Crying Over.

You like me! You really like me!

Hey, I like No Bad News as well as anyone else but I have to vote my conscience and which song affects me most. While NBN has a great point and tastes delicious, Up to the Mountain is one of those timeless epics that will be legend, recorded by countless other artists and hailed as a masterpiece.

Sorry you feel the way you do. I'll leave you alone if that's really what you want. I'll try to get along.......and make do with the hidden cameras I've got hidden in your home other select places.
