I just know some of you will dig this guy. I just heard about him yesterday, and wow, wow! He is warming up on tour for Steve Earle among others.

You can download this EP of his for free online.

Now don't ignore this, remember how you regretted not listening to me about Laura Marling? ;-)

I love Joe. A friend of mine put Hymn #101 on a mix for me and I was intrigued.

Then I had the pleasure of seeing him open for Josh Ritter this summer. He was phenomenal.

My favorite song by him is I Do My Father's Drugs.

MB, thanks for the link to the free EP.

edit: My computer won't le tme unzip it. Awesome.

Yes, thank you, MB. I like what I've heard so far.

Doing a search, I found his version of Return of the Grievous Angel.

I saw Joe open for Derek Trucks & his band, last spring. I enjoyed Joe so much more than Derek LOL. After the show Joe was out in the lobby selling cd's & I bought one from him & he chatted with me & my son for a bit-very personable & very talented.....

bury me far from my uniform-wow-what a song....
