Yes, Russell, you do rock!

The interesting thing about the AMA Auction featured on Russell's site is among the bids for the handwritten lyrics.

Willie's "On the Road Again" is currently tops at $3500.

Robert Plant's "Please Read the Letter," which won the Grammy for Record of the Year, is at $2025.

Patty's "Heavenly Day," is third at $2000.

The next closest bid is John Prine's, "Angel from Montgomery," at $950.

And there are some big names on that list.

Personally, I want Michael Martin Murphy's "Wildfire." Really.

I just noticed this thread this past weekend and I thought I'd say thanks for the kind words. I find that I really enjoy promoting Patty (even to the point of getting a sponsorship for next month's benefit show in Austin) and it's good to hear that others are enjoying PC. It's also good to see that the number of visitors to the site is increasing at a faster and faster rate with December already having over twice as many visits as the previous high month, which was September when a link was included in an story which was, in turn, posted on Patty's Facebook page. Of course, the links posted by Marybeth and Arlene all over the web have played a major part in the increased hits. Many thanks for that. Also, thanks to Rob for that great photo of the "Holy Grail" - Patty's first cassette - which, from what I understand, is actually in the possession of John Higgins, I assume in some vault.

Hey Russell

I haven't chimed in yet, so....

Seriously, Patty doesn't know how lucky she is. We all know how lucky we are though! It's amazing...her album isn't even out yet and already there is so much to hear on PC. The song by song listing is amazing. You obviously put so much time into that, and it shows!

Thanks for all your hard work, and know that sometimes people (like me!) are enjoying it even when they (I) neglect to let you know.

Have a great 2010!
