I have no problem with offensive posts being deleted: I've had several deleted and have received my well-deserved virtual spanking. Please accept my apologies for those posts.
I wondered if there was any official thinking as to how many deletions were "acceptable" before one was quarantined in the Pattynet leper colony??
I realize this is a rather unattractive question to raise, but it might be useful to know how many fouls are allowed before someone's out of the basketball game.
But, hopefully, we'll all be able to play a friendly game of Patty-Hoops without any fouls whatsoever?!

There is no magic number of deleted posts. Decisions about what to delete, and any potentials suspensions/bannings are made on a case-by-case basis.
I don't want anyone to get scared off by this question. This forum is NOT overly-moderated, and the average person is not in danger of getting in any "trouble." Just keep doing what you're doing... you all are great!!

Darn. As new moderator, I was deleting all posts will spelling errors and sending warnings to the offending parties. I guess that'll have to stop now.

Gillian,
didn't mean to suggest any misuse of moderation here. I'm not sure how many total posts have been deleted, but it has been very few and properly done. I imagine 99% of members will never be affected.

On behalf of the group, I'd like to thank you for shortening your moniker to the simple "Turk". We estimate that will save members 1.547 months of typing "Rogers" over the lifetime of the forum (estimating the apocalypse at Feb. 14th, 2176 [a Tuesday I believe]).
I'd also like to commend you on NOT opting for "P. Turk Diddy" or "Puffy Turk."

Now, you're giving me some good ideas. Thanks!
